Hi, I’m Nathanael Smith — a UX designer and web designer passionate about creating thoughtful digital experiences that serve both users and businesses.
I’ve always been drawn to creativity. From sports and skateboarding growing up to music throughout college, creating has consistently shaped the way I think, solve problems, and connect with others.
Before transitioning into UX, I worked as a K–12 music teacher, where I developed strong skills in communication, relationship-building, adaptability, and problem solving. Those experiences continue to shape the way I approach design today — with empathy, curiosity, and a people-first mindset.
Today, I focus on designing modern websites and digital products that balance usability, clarity, and visual polish. Whether working on UX strategy, product design, or Framer websites for small businesses, I enjoy helping turn ideas into intuitive experiences people genuinely enjoy using.
Outside of the workplace, I love cooking, woodworking and spending time with my family near our home in Minneapolis, MN.
